New Rule Change!

After considerable thought and discussion with my partners we have concluded that a new rule change is necessary in order to accomadate primary and backup vehicles. The new rule will allow a driver to designate a back-up car to be used in replacement of their primary car prior to the beginning of each event. The points earned while competing in the back-up car or cars may be designated towards the points accumulated from the primary car as long as these cars are of the same class. Please be sure to identify this to the registrar when you enter the track. will also be addressed in our newsletter. Since this is a new rule it will go into effect prior to the next event, so unfortunately their will be no retroactive action and the current points will remain unchanged. I hope this decision satisfies Reid and all other participants in similar situations to his, and hope to see you all throughout the remainder of the year.

Purchase your Super Lap Timers!

In order to improve the quality and accuracy of our timing data during "Time Battle", the Super Lap Series has now opted to purchase a transponder through Pegasus Auto Racing Supplies. With this timing system in place, we can provide highly accurate and trustworthy times for the benefit of the entire Super Lap family. UPDATE: Drivers will now have an option to rent the #5255 "Hot Lap Timer - In Car System" for $10.00 for Time Battle, purchase their own for a greatly reduced group buy price. Manual timing will NOT be allowed in order to be completly fair across the board.. UPDATE: The group buy is on again! We currently have 5 people in the group buy! 2005 Calendar

The Super Lap Series will promote eight events in 2005 with points awarded for the season championship. We are happy to announce that there will be no increase to the entry fees and as usual, gates will open at 7:30 and the track will be available for use until 3:00pm at each event. The dates are as follows and we look forward to your continuing participation.
